The Montane Men's Tenacity Shorts are designed using a super stretchy fabric for unrestricted movement with a zipped fly and button fastening and an integrated belt that keeps them in place when you’re on the move. With two zipped hand pockets and a secure zipped rear pocket to carry essentials. Constructed with Granite stretch fabric which provides superior abrasion and wind resistance and includes the environmental benefits of PFC free DWR. Designed with hiking, walking and back packing in mind they’re great for long days in the hills. The Tenacity Shorts are the updated version of the Montane Men's Terra Alpine Shorts.

    Great Shorts with a frustrating new style buckle

    The quality and comfort of these shorts are excellent. However, they are totally destroyed by a poor quality connecting buckle on the belt. The old style "snap/push" buckle by Montane was considerably better and never failed. This new one comes undone when walking/climbing and the adjustment also jams. This is very disappointing as I am a big fan of Montane products but this should be changed. These shorts would be 5 stars with the old style buckle.

    I bought a pair of Montane shorts a few years back, which have given good service.

    This pair are even better; slightly longer and blue.

    They are comfortable and strong.

    I now have shorts for all weather conditions.
