Introducing Rebecca Coles

Becky Coles is an expedition climber, alpinist, and Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor, currently working as a field guide for the British Antarctic Survey. She thrives in remote and challenging environments, from high mountains to polar and desert landscapes, combining her passion for exploration with a dedication to teaching others how to move safely in the wild.

Her journey began with a deep love of nature and the outdoors, which evolved into a professional and personal pursuit of adventure. She was one of the first women to gain the Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor qualification and has led high-altitude expeditions on peaks including Aconcagua and Island Peak, as well as remote desert and mountain expeditions in Sudan, Afghanistan, and Iran.

In the UK she trains people for mountaineering and climbing objectives and skills for expeditions through her website.
