The Montane Thaw down jacket offers a contemporary wide baffle, and a relaxed fit that’s wearable wherever your adventure takes you.

This fully featured down jacket includes PERTEX® QUANTUM Pro on the shoulders, with an ultra-thin water-resistant coating, for durability and additional weather protection, alongside the lightweight 30d recycled PERTEX® QUANTUM in the main body for reduced weight and packability.

Complete with an adjustable hood system, REACH + fit construction for full freedom of movement, and pack compatible hand warmer pockets, this modern design is wearable on or off the mountain.

Windproof, soft to the touch and 100% recycled. PERTEX® QUANTUM is constructed in a tightly woven structure to provide windproof protection and trap still air inside the jacket. This allows the down insulation to fully loft and retain its warmth.The fabric is lightweight, packable and soft to the touch. Finished with a non-fluorocarbon water repellent which allows the fabric to shed light rain and snow, allowing the jacket to provide weather protection in adverse conditions.The fabric is constructed using highly abrasion resistant nylon ripstop, incorporating reinforcement yarns to provide durable resistance to tearing, helping the fabric to withstand harsh mountain environments.

ExpeDRY™ DUCK DOWN. Fast-drying Real-Gold Tech.

The Thaw down jacket is filled with ExpeDRY™ Duck Down, which has non-toxic gold particles bonded to it for fast-drying performance and industry-leading warmth. The chemical-free technology works because gold particles vibrate water molecules, just like heat does, to speed up evaporation to a rate faster than the water absorption rate of down, while managing moisture from the body.
