Extremely lightweight waterproof trousers for running

The Montane Minimus Nano Pull-Over Waterproof Pants are a supremely lightweight pair of trousers designed for fast and light runners for whom kit weight and packability is paramount. Made with one of the lightest waterproof and breathable fabrics available, the Minimus Nano Pants weigh just 100g (size medium). These waterproof trousers pack down easily into their own stuff sac to neatly stow in your training and racing packs year-round. An essential piece of kit for runners taking on big challenges this season.

AQUA PRO LITE. Ultralight Waterproof Performance.

So incredibly lightweight it allows the Minimus Nano to pack down to the size of an apple, the Aqua Pro Lite fabric is waterproof, extremely packable and highly breathable. The 20D fabric is incredibly thin and designed to perform in endurance races and ultra marathons, making it ideal to be worn on its own or with a lightweight running vest pack (it is not designed to withstand the punishment of heavy rucksack wear so we would recommend an alternative jacket for hiking or fastpacking adventures with a laden backpack).

EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR AN ULTRA. Not a Gram More.

Ultra races have a specific set of kit requirements that you have to carry with you. You might not need to use your waterproof but you still have to carry it, adding additional weight you could do without. Enter the Minimus Nano Jacket, designed specifically to be as light as possible while exceeding the minimum kit requirements for ultra marathons*. It packs down so small and takes up so little space in your running pack you won’t be mad that you never needed to wear it.

*The kit requirements for Montane ultra races is waterproof clothing with a minimum 10,000mm H/H, the Minimus Nano is rated at 15,000mm H/H.

    Impressed

    Did the 045 Glenridding, Helvellyn & Grisedalw route this weekend. It started out in the rain & finished int the rain.

    Got quite a battering from the weather, heavy down pours and persistent wind with gusts up to 35km and these pants did exactly what was needed, I was dry and protected from the wind.

    Super lightweight, ultra packable and durable. I took a tumble on to rocks and walk half expected to have a rip or hole in the pants but they held up.

    Really impressed, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, well worth the investment.

    I’m a uk 10, opted for a size small, these fit well over my hiking pants.

    the pants are indeed very light but too fragile as well, i got them ripped on my first usage… not recommended.
